My Journey

Since I was old enough to hold a pencil (or crayon), I have doodled, illustrated, colored or written my name relentlessly. I soon became fascinated with color, composition, clean lines and typography. Once I learned all of these elements could be part of a career, I soon after achieved my BFA in graphic design.

Since, I have gained 15+ years experience with a demonstrated graphic and web design history. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, FIgma, and Sketch. 

Aside from being a designer & illustrator, I am a dog adoring, music listening, movie watching, bike riding, river kayaking, screen printing, wood working, business owning, ever traveling, girl dad.

Present

Owner & Teacher | Printed Mass

I own and operate a dynamic artist storefront that showcases handcrafted work from more than 30 local creators. Alongside managing the retail space, I produce custom screen-printed apparel and flat-stock posters for a wide range of clients and take on various design projects. I also lead hands-on screen-printing workshops, sharing technical skills and creative insight with both beginners and seasoned artists.

2023 – 2025

Senior Designer | Newell Brands Outdoor Division

I worked on the Marmot, Coleman & ExOfficio brands, supporting a wide range of creative initiatives across each. I rebuilt and helped redesign Marmot's new brand identity, processes and asset library, improving organization and workflow efficiency. In addition, I created emails, social ads, and website assets for all three brands. I collaborated closely with copywriters and brand-marketing partners to execute daily creative needs under tight deadlines. I also managed design projects and provided guidance to junior designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistent brand expression.

2021 – 2023

Lead Art Director | The Yankee Candle Co.

I worked on the Yankee Candle, WoodWick, and Chesapeake Bay Candle brands, supporting their visual and marketing initiatives. I managed the end-to-end process for coding marketing emails and implementing website updates, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Additionally, I assisted the Creative Director by helping oversee the team’s design executions, maintaining brand consistency across all creative outputs.

2014 – 2021

Email & Web Graphic Designer | The Yankee Candle Co.

I helped grow and streamline both the email and website production processes, along with improving the overall design execution workflow. I contributed to building three distinct website platforms and created emails, social ads, and website assets for all three brands. In addition, I executed daily creative needs under tight deadlines, working closely with copywriters and e-commerce partners to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
